One Year Anniversary

CHRIS AND I HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR ONE WHOLE YEAR!!!!!!!!!

As Chris called it (very cutely): Our Wedding Birthday!

All of Juneau was celebrating it with us! We had the most beautiful weather!!!!
Stunning colors and view isn't it? I sat on Chris' shoulders on our porch to get this shot over the trees.

Chris works at the Grandma's Feather Bed hotel, and the wonderfully sweet owners were generous enough to let us stay in one of the rooms for a night, complementary of them!

Chris was able to pick his favorite room for us to stay in.
I wish I could capture the whole loveliness here. There are three steps that lead up to the door, but I couldn't step back far enough back to get the whole door!
Inside is gorgeous! This room is bigger than our entire apartment here in Juneau!

Such a sweet charming room!

The best is yet to come!!! Check out that Jacuzzi Tub!!!!!

This is what Grandma's Feather Bed is known for!!!
Chris set up Gorgeous flowers for me all over!

They are all so beautiful! Plus he got me one gorgeous red rose, just like he did when he proposed and it represents one year! He is a romantic one! I am so lucky to have such a perfect Husband!
So sweet!

Chris and I exchanged gifts. I hand sewed a patch that I made onto the back of a shimmering metallic black tie. I hand embroidered the "I love you" with metallic thread. I also got him batman cuff links. We watched Batman The Dark Knight on our very first date. Plus he loves cuff links!

Chris bought me an amazing charm for my charm bracelet. He got me the Limited Edition 2011 Wedding Cake charm because we got married in 2011! And the number one candle represents "Our Wedding Birthday" he told me, and that is the cutest thing I have ever heard!!! Plus he had set up an AMAZING full day at a Spa for me! Manicure, Pedicure, Swedish Massage, Facial, and anything else I want done while I am there!

I MARRIED A KEEPER!!!!

I know that there is a tradition that the newly wed couple keeps their cake topper and eats it on their one year anniversary. . . Well we didn't even have the chance to taste our cake topper. My family took it home and ate it all the night of our Wedding!!! Too bad, because it was double dark chocolate with chocolate mouse ganache filling!

So! In lou of a cake topper, I made a MINI three layered wedding cake, dark chocolate with cream-cheese frosting! It is adorable and yummy!

Isn't it darling?
And I did attempt to decorate it! We had a beautiful calligraphy "S" on our real wedding cake!
The fork beside it is one of the "smaller" forks from a standard set. Check that out for a mini wedding cake!
Of course we ate dinner first! We decided to spend time making our own romantic dinner. (That and we were craving some good ribs.)

It may not look like much, but it was oh so good!!! Delicious!
After dinner we exchanged our anniversary cards!

Chris is just so adorable! He writes beautiful notes to me and I love what he said on this envelope!
"Our Wedding Birthday" . . . "The day our love blossomed and will never die . . ."

Chris and I had such a lovely stay at Grandma's Feather Bed!

We had the most beautiful wonderful Anniversary and we are so very blessed to have been married and sealed in God's Temple one year ago and for time and ALL ETERNITY! I am forever blessed to have Chris as my Husband, and I hope he knows I love him every single day no matter what!
