Afterwork Adventure

I got off work earlier than Chris today, and I was feeling a bit down because the weather has not been the best. We rarely see the sun. It becomes light during the day, but always overcast.

BUT, I had a great little adventure and was able to take time to reflect.

The Mendenhall Wetlands is the beautiful view we have from the windows of our little apartment.
We live up the mountain from this beautiful valley.

Whale Worth It

Whale Watching with National Geographic photographer Brent Nixon!!!

Today was the greatest! One of the incredible benefits we get for working at the Best Western in Juneau, Alaska is Chris and I are able to go on all kinds of amazing excursions and adventures!

This afternoon we were able to get onto a Whale Watching cruise for FREE, and it was so incredible! We saw lots of whales and eagles and sea lions and sea otters . . . and it was so lovely!
