The most important part of Easter is remembering that our Savior, Jesus Christ, has been resurrected. He died and atoned for each one of us and was resurrected on the 3rd day. He lives and we celebrate the beautiful knowledge that we have of our living Lord, Christ.
This is a beautiful painting by Simon Dewey of Christ after he rose from his tomb and appeared to Mary and asked her "Why weapest thou?" Then it dawns on Mary Magdalene that this is not the gardener she is talking to, but is in fact, her Master and Savior, Christ.
Easter is for remembering all our many blessings and worshiping the Lord. Easter is a time for family, love and gratitude. We are so blessed in so many ways and we love all our family and friends!
We love Easter! I especially love Easter, because all the bunnies!!!
Easter really is a beautiful time of year. Spring is approaching, and the weather has been so beautiful in Juneau lately!
