95 Days!

Yesterday was our 95 Day Wedding Anniversary!!!

Let me explain. Chris and I did not have the chance to do anything on our 3 month Wedding Anniversary (which was also Father's Day), and Chris has been so busy with school and work lately that I decided he needed a break so I surprised him with a few little things and made a cake, and candles sounded fun so I put those on the cake as well. I also did not want to wait until our 100 Day anniversary because I was excited and I wouldn't be able to really make it a surprise on a Sunday. So why not day 95? I think it is just a great as day 100!

This is one of Chris' very favorite cakes! He loves fun-fetti cake and especially fun-fetti frosting!

A happy 95 days it has been! Counting today 96!!!

Blessings and Businesses

Things have been moving so fast the past few weeks.
We have been so blessed. Chris just got a job at Ace Hardware!

I went to visit him at work, he would not let me take pictures (hahaha I would if he'd let me, I am so cheesy). He wears a white "Ace" T-shirt and blue jeans and a red vest! He puts a black ear piece on and carries a walkie-talkie clipped to his back pocket! He looks super cute! He is such a handy man it is the perfect job for him. He gets to make keys, rent out U-hauls and help people put their door knobs back together, and many other random tasks.

Also I officially started my Photography business!

This has somewhat become my signature shot. The couple blurred in the background and the fun prop in focus, and I love super saturation. Anyways I keep getting better with practice!

I have enjoyed it so far! I have done four engagement sessions for couples that also attend BYU-I, but it has been a little crazy they all have short engagements (around 6 weeks short) and need their pictures within two weeks or less. But it is a great experience. I created a blog for all my professional photography. I love coming up with new ideas and creating art through a lens. I have to brag a little, my Photo Blog has been up and running for only about two weeks now and I have had 1268 views! Amazing! One girl wants me to be her Wedding Photographer!!! Awesome! Except, I will be out of town at my brother John's Wedding. But it has been a huge blessing to get the work I have gotten through photography. My Dad has been a huge support! He has given me so much, I am so thankful that he is so kind and generous and willing to help me get established. He is an amazing more experienced Photographer himself. He gives me so much great feed back it has been so fun to bounce ideas off each other. I love him so much! Chris has been a super support. He advertises me to all his friends and gets excited about all the public reactions I have been getting! He is so amazing, I love him dearly!

We have made great friends in our apartment complex! Occasionally we come home to treats on our door step or flowers form secret admirers. . .
These flowers were left on our porch Saturday night, from a secret admirer. Actually we suspect our friends Quinton and Ariel to have dropped them off.
Aren't they pretty little wild flowers? These little guys highlight the open fields around our apartment!

Earlier Saturday before Chris and I went out for our date night some friends stopped by with clown noses on and made us balloon animals! A flower for me and a puppy for Chris!

We have been watched over and so very blessed. We are so thankful for friends and family! We are having so much fun! God has been so good to us!

Random Moments

The BEAUTIFUL flowers Chris got me on our 2 month Wedding Anniversary.
My cute cute cute Christopher.

Me holding all of my babies, Chris likes to interrupt my naps and slowly stuff animals under my arms until I am holding all of them. Then he asks me what I am doing and why I have all my babies. He is so funny. I love that boy.

Our first apartment together!

Welcome to our humble home in Rexburg.

Most of these photographs are not a great representation of how it looks in real life. The photos look so busy, grainy, and yellow. Also the picture cannot accurately capture the size of the space.
Our front entry/ living room.
The other side of our living room. Nice futon we bought off a friend, and slipped a cover on. We were without a couch for about a month.
View into our dining space, and a peak of the kitchen. (Looking from the living room)

Our dining area & cow hide rug Chris' family was so kind to give us so much of the furniture we have!
Chris made me this table! By hand, from scratch, and designed it!
It is beautiful! He cut the lumber, tapered the legs, made the stools, everything! Sanded, stained, poly finished it! I love it to death! It is my gorgeous wedding gift from him! He is amazing and so talented!

Now into the kitchen!

Stove top, awesome Texas cutting board! Ghetto blender, looks nice, but I hate it!

So I made the top curtain, and thought this would be a great spot to hang it, we bought the white one, and put it up to cover our washer and dryer. Really it looks much nicer with a curtain hiding those machines!

View of hallway from the kitchen.
Hallway, here you can count five door knobs. In order from left to right these doors are: closet, bathroom, bedroom (center door), another storage closet, spare bedroom (closest door on the right) currently we use the spare room as our computer room and extra storage room.

Small apartment yes, but big enough for us! It is perfect for two people, and we love sharing our space! We do enjoy our little home, and it is a place for friends and family.
