Independence Day!!! This is one of our favorite Holidays!!!

Chris and I decided to stay in Idaho this year for Independence Day! We thought it would be fun to fuse our family traditions. My family always goes to the big community firework show. Chris' family buys their own fireworks (big & small) and plays with them for hours in the street in front of their house. So this year we did both!
This year we went into Idaho Falls, just 30 minutes from Rexburg, on a green belt along a beautiful river. Before we headed to the show spot we went shopping in Idaho Falls, bought fireworks, and went to lunch with all of our friends. We ate at a Chinese Buffet.

When then headed to the green belt where the Firework display would be. We hung out with some great friends from our neighborhood, and waited for the large firework display to begin.
On the other side of the river is the Idaho Falls Temple! It was a wonderful day, and a pretty spot!

Later we played with the fireworks we bought! I love sparklers and Chris loves Roman candles!

We love fireworks and we love the 4th of July!
Can't wait until next year!
I found a list of the tops firework shows all over the country,
I guess Idaho Falls is number 2!
